About the Author | David Markee
David Markee was a session bass player who played with some of the world’s greatest artists including Eric Clapton, The Rolling Stones, Frank Zappa, Joan Armatrading, The Who, Henry Mancini, and Bing Crosby.
He dedicated his life to God after becoming a Christian in 1981. David started a charitable trust, Folly’s End, along with a church, a primary school, and two schools of worship. He was committed to the education of children.
He would often make up stories for them, and these of some of those stories.
